Openai has released Monday’s update to AI Voice Mode to make AI AI Assistant, an AI voice feature that allows real-time conversations in ChatGPT more attractive and reduce the frequency of user disruptions.

Manuka Stratta, a post-training researcher after Openai, announced the changes to the video posted on Monday on the company’s official social media channels.

The latest updates to Openai are intended to address frequent issues with AI voice assistants. This interrupts the user as they think or take a deep breath.

Free users of CHATGPT now have access to a new version of Advanced Voice mode that allows users to pause without interruption when talking to AI assistants. ChATGPT users, including Openai Plus, Team, EDU, Business and Protia subscribers, also use Advanced Voice mode to reduce disruptions when the voice assistant’s personality improves.

A spokesman for Openai told TechCrunch that the new AI voice assistant for paying users is “more direct, engaging, concise, concrete, and the answer is creative.”

The improvements in advanced voice modes come amidst strong pressure from competitors in the AI voice assistant space.

Sesame – A startup backed by Andreessen Horowitz created by Oculus co-founder Brendan Iribe – recently went viral with natural-sounding AI voice assistants Maya and Miles. Large players are also stepping into AI Voice Assistant Spaces such as Amazon.
