Electric Cat Productions, a specialist B2B marketing agency, marked the start of 2025 with a series of new developments, including team growth, expanded service delivery, certification, and launching new industry resources.

Growth of the team and expanding services

Electric Cat welcomed experienced presenter and marketing expert Stephanie Garey to the team. Garey brings valuable expertise in event moderation, moderation and content delivery. This means Electric Cat can provide clients with professional hosts and moderator services, providing ground content support such as street interviews and Vox Pops.

The agency has also officially made its photography service with freelance photographer Mads Pierce. Previous clients, including FFAIR, Nowie, and well-known industry shows such as EPS and Confex, have Mads specialised in event photos, team headshots and brand-driven visual content.

Additionally, Electric Cat offers podcast production and editing services, with both Garey and Pierce contributing to the Neon Lounge, the unique industry podcast of Electric Cats.

Value and Advocacy: Fair Work and Safer Spaces

Electric Cat Productions has doubled its core values of equity, safety and inclusion and has recently confirmed its commitment to paying all freelancers and staff on time to ensure certification from the Living Wage Foundation.

Founder Kat Keburn said: “As a self-funded business with no investors, we know firsthand the challenge of balancing higher operating costs with high overhead, but we know the value of people and are confidently proud that team members are always rewarded properly for their time, talent and expertise.”

She added: “This certification is just another step towards solidifying our value and we look forward to continuing to grow as a business and team over the next few years.”

In addition to this accreditation, Keburn was appointed official ambassador to seek Angela. This is a national campaign to help people who feel unsafe or vulnerable access in a social environment. She will use this new role to raise awareness and encourage a safer and more inclusive event environment.

New Resources: Events and Awards Calendar

To support experts across the events industry, Electric Cat has launched a free, accessible calendar of events and awards. Designed as a One Stop Shop resource, the calendar brings together key dates for UK, European and US award submissions and event attendance.

The initiative is intended to help organizations actively plan and seize awareness and networking opportunities.

An event and award calendar is available at the Electric Cat website www.electriccat.co. The agency also offers coordinated award submission support services for those seeking a more practical approach.
