Barcelona regained the La Liga Liga title from rival Real Madrid, earning a 2-0 victory with neighbour Espanyol.
Barcelona won their 28th Spanish League title after Ramin Yamal starred in a 2-0 victory at Crosstown rival Espanyol.
Yamal scored in the 53rd minute of a tight match on Thursday. At that time, the teenage futures passed two defenders along the edge of the area before whipping one of their current left-footed curlers into the corner of the net.
Fermin Lopez scored to win the victory in stop time, but Yamal’s strike stole the headline and was the perfect high for a youth season.
The 17-year-old excelled for Barcelona in his goals, dribbling and playmaking as he confirmed his position as the next big star in global football.
The strike was the eighth league goal of the season, but he has 12 assists to his name.
“Rameen’s goal is a move he practices a lot, and he scored twice in the same warm-up today. We have to look after him and entertain him.

Barcelona Edge The Nervous Catalonia Derby
The first half was a much more severe event with just one shot registered on each side. In fact, it was the best home team of early chances, and they hoped Real Madrid would continue their title defense beyond this game. It wasn’t for the Madrid club, but shortly after Yamal’s latest mysterious goal, Espanyol was reduced to ten men when he waving his left arm into the chest of Barca’s starlet.
Barcelona won the title with two rounds remaining. He completed a domestic double with the Copa del Rey title and reached the Champions League semi-finals in his stunning first season for manager Hansi Flick.
Flick’s team virtually finished Madrid’s title defense when they beat top rivals 4-3 on Sunday, making it four of four Classico victories in all competitions this season.
Madrid’s victory over Mallorca on Wednesday prevented Barcelona from winning the title without performing. However, the Catalan club needed just two points from the final three games of the season.

The fan was injured in an incident outside the stadium
Several Espanyol supporters were injured after being attacked by a car near the stadium just minutes before the start of the Catalonian derby.
At least 14 individuals suffered injuries of varying severity when a female driver surrounded by Espanyol fans in front of her hometown lost control of the car, causing panic and chaos.
The woman was subsequently arrested and undergoes respiratory testing by Catalan policeman Mossos Descadra.
Emergency Medical Services responded quickly and deployed 10 ambulances to the scene.
Of the 14 injured fans, four have been reported to be less severe, while others suffered minor injuries. The most serious reported injury was a broken leg.
Authorities say the incident occurred when Espanyol fans gathered to welcome the team’s coaches. The driver’s car was sandwiched between two containers, prompting several supporters to throw things at the vehicle, resulting in damage.
In response, the driver accelerated and attacked about 20 fans.
“It was an accident, but some people were injured, but seriously, not. There are no major incidents to report,” Generalitat president Salvador Illa, who attended the match, told Spanish TV channel Movistar Plus.
