Ariana Grande is in a supernatural mood after the first day of her highly anticipated Eternal Sunshine Tour.
The pop star shared several photos from the film’s set in a sweet post on Instagram on Sunday (June 7), a day after Trek’s kickoff show in Oakland, California. “Finding words during this time feels impossible… so right now all I can do is be grateful,” she wrote.
“From the bottom of my heart,” Grande continued. “I love you more than words can express. And I missed you. Thank you.”
The Wicked actress flaunts different looks in the photos she shared while performing a song from her discography, namely 2024’s ‘Eternal Sunshine’. Saturday’s (June 6) set also included the lead single “Hate That I Made You Love Me” from her upcoming album Petal, as well as classic Billboard Hot 100 hits such as “Into You,” “Dangerous Woman,” “Break Free” and “One Last Time.”
Grande hasn’t toured since 2019, so this show was an emotional one for both her and her fans. “Thank you so much, I love you all so much and I missed you all,” she tearfully said on stage to a raucous standing ovation at the Oakland Arena. “This is very emotional. I just want to thank you so much for being here.”
The Grammy winner will play two more shows in Oakland before moving to the Crypto.com Arena and then to the Kia Forum in the Los Angeles area. During the summer, she will also perform in Austin, Texas. Brooklyn, New York. They performed in American cities including Chicago, and ended with 10 performances at the O2 Arena in London.
