Niall Horan brings his new album ‘Dinner Party’ to Manhattan for a day of fan entertainment as Universal Music’s UMusic Shop NY hosts a special pop-up event to celebrate the release of his fourth studio album on Tuesday (June 9).
The acquisition, located at 2 Penn Plaza, will offer fans the opportunity to purchase exclusive Dinner Party merchandise (including items that have already sold out elsewhere), as well as limited edition T-shirts made specifically for the event. Attendees will also be able to enjoy a full playback of the new album along with an interactive photo shoot in-store. According to the announcement, the featured Dinner Party assortment will be available at UMusic Shop NY throughout the week while supplies last, giving New York-based fans an extended period of time to get their hands on the exclusive item.
This pop-up arrives on the same day as the official worldwide release of Dinner Party from Capitol Records. Executive produced by longtime collaborators Julian Bunetta and John Ryan, the 12-track album leans in a cinematic, organic-sounding direction, with co-writers including Afterers, Amy Allen, Ian Franzino, Andrew Haas, Steph Jones, Rocky Bullock and Joel Little contributing throughout the record. Dinner Party opens with “Tastes So Good” and ends with “End of an Era,” with the title song coming in second on the tracklist.
Horan’s chart flow gives new releases great momentum heading into release week. The multi-platinum singer-songwriter first rose to fame as part of One Direction, then launched one of the group’s most commercially successful solo careers, selling over 90 million records worldwide.
His debut solo album, Flicker, reached number one on the Billboard 200 in 2017 and spawned the triple platinum hit, Slow Hands. Subsequent albums Heartbreak Weather (2020) and The Show (2023) both reached number one on Billboard’s Top Album Sales Chart and the UK Official Albums Chart. His 2024 global headline tour, “The Show Live on Tour,” brought his music to packed arenas on multiple continents.
The UMusic Shop NY takeover is open to fans all day on June 9th, and a wide selection of dinner party items will be available for the rest of the week while supplies last.
