Great love brings great marriage! After months of speculation, Tom Holland confirmed in Esquire magazine’s July/August cover story that he and Zendaya are married.
The actor casually shared the news when he touched on an AI-generated wedding photo of the couple, who met while starring in Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016, with him as Marvel’s famous webslinger and her as his girlfriend, which went viral in March. Holland explained that when the fake images surfaced online, she thought she hadn’t received an invitation from her grandmother to the wedding, but was told she didn’t need to contact anyone close to her.
Although Holland didn’t divulge details of that day, the singer and actress, who has been engaged since around January 2025, also talked about how they were able to lean on each other despite the stress of Hollywood. “It’s really great to have the foundation of a relationship that will stand the test of time,” he told the magazine. “We can support each other in a way that only we can, because we’re the only ones who really understand what it’s like to live this life. I think that’s such a luxury, because I don’t understand how you can do that with other people.”
He then added of Zendaya, who has had six songs on the Billboard Hot 100, “I found who I am. She’s my best friend and I’m the happiest I’ve ever been with her, but I’ve never felt so supported and safe. Ever.”
In addition to the AI-generated images, there are also images that the Euphoria star herself described as “not real” during a visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live in March. — Fans suspected that the couple got married long before any official confirmation was made by the couple. The actress’ longtime stylist Law Roach has revealed that the wedding took place without the public’s knowledge. In an interview with Access Hollywood published on March 1, the fashion expert said in a sing-song voice, “The wedding already happened! You missed it,” before doubling down on her own confession: “It’s true.”
