Levity’s staff is not far removed from their day jobs. A new mini-documentary about dubstep trio John Holdren, PJ Carberry, and Josh Talm talks about Carberry, Verizon, and their recent stint working at a burger joint where Carberry worked as a server and Holdren washed dishes.
Not long after Levity made their Coachella debut, a new mini-documentary has been produced that follows them as they prepare to perform at the fest in 2026. “I remember receiving a call and finding out it was our agent,” Holdren said in the document. “I picked up the phone and he said, ‘I got a call from Coachella. They’ve got an offer for you guys.'” I started crying. That’s what we’ve dreamed of all our lives. ”
Understandably, tensions are high ahead of Friday’s performance at Sahara Stage at 9 p.m. “This has to be the best show we’ve ever done,” Talm says. He is pictured studying for his medical school exams while preparing to perform at Coachella.

The new doc is part of the Coachella Arrivals series, which follows artists during their Coachella debuts, and this season also includes Holly Humberstone, Cat Eye, and Gigi Perez. The series is produced in partnership with Marriott Bonvoy and content studio MGX Creative.
“Coachella has brought so many new people to our project, more than any single festival or show in our lifetimes,” the trio told Billboard in a joint statement. “There are a lot of people who have never heard dubstep before. It was such a beautiful thing because we remember hearing this kind of music for the first time 16 years ago. And we’re honored to join these new people at the beginning of their journey to dive into this sound.”
“Coachella gave us a lot of credibility in the larger music scene,” they continue. “While this music may be on the ‘mainstream’ side of the dubstep niche, it is still seen as ‘weird’ and ‘tacky’ within the music world at large. However, the credibility it brings has allowed us to have open conversations and collaborations with artists, publications, and festivals that would not have been possible before. We are very grateful for the opportunity at Coachella to prove that dubstep is good music that deserves the same respect as other genres in the world.”
