Last summer, Travis Kelce knelt on the ground and pulled out a ring, so you better believe Taylor Swift will show it off while singing “Love Story” in a surprise performance with the football player’s college tight end Laney Wilson.
In footage captured by Billboard from the Tight Ends & Friends concert in Nashville on Tuesday (June 23), the pop superstar and country hitmaker command the stage together at Pinnacle, belting out Swift’s 2008 smash, which peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2009. Wearing a strapless black dress with sparkling silver trim from the hem, Swift poses as she wiggles the diamond on her left hand to the cheering crowd as she sings the lyrics, “He knelt on the ground and took out his ring.”
Before the 14-time Grammy Award winner took the stage, Wilson, who was a featured surprise performer at this year’s TEU concert, introduced her duet partner with a sweet compliment. “She is as kind as she is talented,” the Louisiana native said. “Welcome to the stage, my friend Taylor Swift.”
The show came a day after TEU’s evening gathering kicked off, which Swift attended with her fiancé for the second year in a row. Kelce founded the annual event with George Kittle and Greg Olsen to unite NFL tight ends and raise money for charity.
Fans had been wondering if Swift would take the stage at some point during the 2026 showcase, as she previously wowed the crowd at TEU last year with an impromptu performance of “Shake It Off.”
“[She] I just went to the game without practicing, and it was perfect,” Kelce later gushed about the 2025 surprise New Heights.
