Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey’s wedding is reportedly coming soon, and Ed Kelsey definitely seems ready for it too.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s father spoke to FOX 29 Philly on Wednesday (June 24) while volunteering at the Team 62 fundraiser hosted by the Eagles Autism Foundation and his oldest son Jason Kelce in Sea Isle City, New Jersey. When asked what he thought about his second son’s wedding, Ed warmly replied, “I’m very excited.”
“She’s a sweetheart,” he continued about Swift, before comparing her to his first daughter-in-law, Kylie Kelce. “She’s just the girl next door, just like Kylie.”
Ed’s excitement is echoed by fans around the world as the Fourth of July weekend approaches, reportedly the time for Swift and Travis’ wedding. There has also been speculation about the location of the ceremony and reception, with some media outlets suggesting it could be held at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Meanwhile, the Kells brothers were busy with their own philanthropic endeavors. While Jason was in Jersey raising money for autism research, Travis was in Nashville hosting the annual three-day Tight End Collegiate Summit. The summit unites NFL tight ends while raising money for charity. On the second day, Swift made a surprise cameo during the Tight Ends & Friends concert, singing “Love Story” with Rainie Wilson, the 2026 showcase’s featured performer.
“They’re focused on serving the community,” Ed told FOX 29 Philly of his sons. “They have a lot going on and a lot to do. They know it. They don’t see it as a chore or a responsibility to take on.”
