Alison Wonderland definitely fulfilled her role in the 2026 FIFA World Cup and played the role of blindfold.

As previously reported, the elite Australian DJ and producer has been selected to perform the match ball at the FIFA World Cup match to be held at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Thursday night, June 25th. The match was an important one as her compatriots faced their Pool D opponents Paraguay.

“What an honor and privilege to carry the ball onto the field for the FIFA World Cup match between Australia and Paraguay,” she wrote in a social post. “Being the stadium captain has to be one of the best moments of my life. GO THE ROOS.”

In an earlier post sharing news of the special honor, Wonderland (real name: Alexandra Scholer) asked her followers to “wish them all the best.” She didn’t need it. There were no grunts, no errors, no failures.

Wonderland may have been a lucky charm for the Socceroos. The team needed a win or a draw to advance to the round of 32. When the final whistle blew, Australia had won 0-0.

Once you check off the items on your bucket list, Wonderland will be able to focus on touring. She will conclude the North American leg of her latest trip this Saturday, June 27th, at Foam Wonderland in Las Vegas, Nevada. She will then take shows to the UK and Europe before kicking off Wonderland Warehouse Rave in London on July 10th. All in support of her fourth studio album, Ghost World (via EMI).

Released in December 2025, Ghost World’s collaborators include EDM producer and artist Nina Wilson, known as Ninajirachi, as well as DJ Dave and Eric the Architect. Wonderland produced the collection with Dylan Ragland, MEMBA, and QUIX. Ghost World was mixed by Tom Norris and Tristan Hoogland and mastered by Dale Becker.

Wonderland is truly home to the stage and can boast over 800,000 headline ticket sales on its US tour alone. In 2018, she etched her name into the history books when she headlined Coachella, her fourth performance in the California desert. He has also headlined Red Rocks Amphitheater’s Temple of Wonderland seven times.
