Alison Wonderland has many stories to tell her grandchildren. The Australian EDM star made her mark in the history books when she headlined Coachella in 2018, becoming the first female DJ to do so in her fourth performance in the California desert.
She is even more proud of having headlined Red Rocks Amphitheater’s Temple of Wonderland seven times. He has also headlined Perry’s Stage at Lollapalooza and has appeared at Tomorrowland, Electric Daisy Carnival, Ultra, Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits, and Life is Beautiful. The Sydneysiders shifted more than 800,000 headline ticket sales on their US tour alone. Her music has been streamed over 1.1 billion times worldwide.
Perhaps her best moment will come on Thursday night, June 25th. Wonderland was invited to provide the match ball for the final Group D match of the FIFA World Cup finals between Australia and Paraguay, which kicks off at 10pm ET at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
“Oh my gosh, Adidas just asked me to bring the game ball onto the field for tomorrow’s Australia vs. Paraguay game,” she wrote on social media. “I’m waving to you all from the TV. I wish you all the best. (I was in the studio all day, so I had to process it (lol)).”
An elated Wonderland shared a few snaps from the studio. In each shot, she wears Australian-made green and gold Adidas track pants. One photo appears to capture the surreal moment she read an email with a once-in-a-lifetime request.
Australian footballers hope Wonderland (real name Alexandra Scholer) will be their good luck charm. To advance to the tournament, Australia must win or draw against the South American team. Losing is not an option.
The timing is perfect. Wonderland is currently on tour in the United States, with the final date set for this Saturday, June 27th, at Foam Wonderland in Las Vegas, Nevada. She will then take shows to the UK and Europe before kicking off Wonderland Warehouse Rave in London on July 10th. All in support of her fourth studio album, Ghost World (via EMI).
In an interview with Billboard ahead of his latest tour, Wonderland said, “I’m a perfectionist. Someone told me a long time ago that you can tell everyone that you put your all into this body of work, but at the end of the day, only you will know if you really went there. It stays with me and haunts me every time I make something. I think that’s why I push myself so hard. I think about it all the time to this day.”
Collaborators on her latest album, released in December 2025, include EDM producer and artist Nina Wilson, known as Nina Jirachi, as well as DJ Dave and Eric the Architect. Wonderland produced the collection with Dylan Ragland, MEMBA, and QUIX. Ghost World was mixed by Tom Norris and Tristan Hoogland and mastered by Dale Becker.
