Chase Infinity has ATEEZ wrapped around his finger in the band’s new music video “BAD,” which was released on Friday (June 26) along with their new mini-album “Golden Hour Part.5.”
The visual begins with the One Battle After Another star looking gorgeous in a white dress at her own wedding as her groom struggles to put a ring on his finger, but his finger is already stuffed with eight rings – presumably one for each member of the K-pop group. Chaos erupts as Seonghwa bursts through the door, ushering in Michael Jackson in a white suit and hat, and the other members begin a choreography in which they try to win Infinity’s affections one by one.
After a series of dance-filled sequences in which Hongjoong, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho try to charm an actress and spy on a date with the other members, everyone gathers in a courtroom where Infinity is put on trial as the bad guy, as the lyrics say. It is then revealed that she was in control all along, as Infinity performs her own choreography and uses her powers to make the band members imitate her movements.
The video ends with the judge declaring Ms. Infinity not guilty, and she exits the courtroom flashing eight rings at the camera.
“BAD” is one of the five new songs included in GOLDEN HOUR Part.5, which will be released a few months after GOLDEN HOUR Part.4. The project topped the Top Album Sales chart in February, making it the boy band’s seventh No. 1 hit.
