Cardi B hilariously predicts what will happen if the Knicks win in the Finals

Cardi B has high hopes for the New York Knicks in the 2026 NBA Finals. When asked by Entertainment Tonight while attending Game 3 against the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night about what a Knicks win would mean for the city, the rapper had a hilarious answer.

“It means the rats are gone, the tree starts growing and the hole is filled,” she enthusiastically told the media. “A sparkling rain falls, and the Statue of Liberty begins to walk.

“It would mean everything,” she added. “Crimes will always be solved!”

Of course, the Bronx native ended up saying, “Go to the Knicks!”

New York’s team ultimately lost 111-115 on Monday night, but New York still holds a 2-1 lead in the series. With two more wins, the Knicks could become the NBA champions for the first time since 1973. The team also hasn’t advanced to the finals since 1999. Game 4 will be played Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden.

Cardi is a veteran Knicks fan and has sat courtside at games before. During Game 3, he performed the halftime show and sat courtside with his 4-year-old son, Wave.

She was always loud and proud of her love for her homeland. Recently, Cardi teamed up with Mayor Zoran Mamdani to help launch a music contest to support his 2-K program, which provides free childcare to New Yorkers. “Can you believe it?! We have a 34-year-old mayor! I feel like a kid, but you’re like running New York!” she told Politicians in a video announcing the contest.
