Fans were surprised when charli But now she has shared another special edition version and we can see that she has actually combined her icon within the frame.
“Music, Fashion & Movies special edition cover available now,” the singer wrote on social media, sharing another photo. “I can’t believe this image exists, xx”
The new artwork is very similar to the original Music, Fashion & Movies cover, with John Cale, Marc Jacobs, and Martin Scorsese gathered together in the same bleak kitchen, staring neutrally into the camera. But this time, Charlie is among them, also wearing all black and staring at the viewer with an unreadable expression on his face.
The trio of musicians, designers and directors on the main cover each represent the three words of the album title. “I’m by no means declaring these guys to be a trinity,” the British hitmaker said in a June interview with Nicky Reardon. “They’re mine…There are a million different versions of this album cover. Same goes for me.”
Charlie collaborated with Cale on ‘House’, which was included on this year’s Wuthering Heights soundtrack album. But the Velvet Underground pioneer had never met his album cover partner until the day of the shoot, telling Rolling Stone in a recent cover story about Charlie: [I knew]I was on a plane. Eventually, I ended up in a haphazard kitchen. ”
“I’m truly honored to have known him,” Charlie told the magazine at the time. “I’m like, ‘Oh my god?'”
“Music, Fashion & Movies” was released on July 24th and is her first studio album since 2024’s “Brat,” which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and won a Grammy Award. The day before the alternate cover was released, Charli announced the full tracklist for the project, which features a collaboration with director David Cronenberg.
