Jelly Roll’s daughter Bailey-Anne has spoken out about her divorce from stepmother Bunny Zoe, with the teenager saying she is “sick and tired” of public attention to the divorce.
In her TikTok Story on Tuesday (June 16), Bailey shared a selfie taken in bed and wrote, “Oh, one more thing.”
“I’m tired of how focused everyone is on what is clearly a private family matter,” she continued. “That’s really crazy.”
“Go away,” Bailey added. “Don’t worry about my house, worry about your house. We haven’t talked about that yet.”
The country star, who is also the father of a second son named Noah from another previous relationship, filed for divorce from the Dumb Blonde podcaster on May 18 after nearly 10 years of marriage. However, the public didn’t learn about it until the day before Bailey’s post, and TMZ broke the story just before Billboard confirmed it through online court records.
After meeting Jerry in 2015 and marrying him the following year, Bunny became one of Bailey’s guardians and ended up sharing primary custody of Jerry with the Grammy winner. Jerry has previously spoken about how important his estranged wife was to rebuilding his relationship with Bailey after years in and out of prison, telling Billboard in 2023, “I never would have gotten custody of our daughter without her. I wouldn’t have had the stability, I wouldn’t have the money.”
In December, Bailey threw a surprise prom for her father and stepmother. “She crowned us king and queen and we danced and sang like teenagers finally having their moment,” Bunny wrote on social media after this sweet gesture. “Time is the most precious thing we have. Spend it on your people. The memories you make with them will last longer than everything else.”
In early May, about two weeks before Jerry filed for divorce, he and Bunny teamed up to send Bailey to his prom.
“After all, Ms. Bailey wrote in a follow-up statement shared on TikTo on Wednesday (June 17) morning after her initial post: “No matter what, we are all human beings with feelings and that deserves compassion… I will never forget all of you who showed me empathy when I was witnessing so much hate.”
“And to everyone else, I hope humanity evolves to a place where kindness is paramount,” Bailey added. “I understand and respect opinions, and I understand that a public profile is a public profile. But that doesn’t have to mean we give up our human decency. I love you all.”
