Madonna and Sabrina Carpenter are bringing their love of dance to the club in a new music video that sees them unite as queens of the night while welcoming special guests.
The visual for the two musicians’ collaboration “Bring Your Love” was released on Monday (June 15), and shows Madge and Carpenter taking turns belting out the lyrics as the camera moves between different corners of a raucous nightclub. It is not until the end of the video that the women come together, walk toward each other down a long catwalk, size each other up, then raise their hands to the sky and surrender together to the power of dance.
“Bring me the love ’cause you can’t shake me,” the two hitmakers sing. “Bring me your love, ’cause you’ll never break me down/Bring me your love, ’cause you’ll never break me down.”
Also, another club patron who attracts the attention of the audience appears near the end. Julia Garner is set to play Madonna in the long-delayed Queen of Pop biopic from 2022.
“Bring Your Love” dropped in late April and subsequently debuted at No. 74 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking a bold opening for the pop icon’s upcoming album, Confessions II. The highly anticipated project, released on July 3rd, is the long-awaited sequel to Madonna’s critically acclaimed Confessions on a Dance Floor.
So far, fans have also heard “I Feel So Free” and “Love Sensation” from the project. The Queen also debuted her new song ‘Bizarre’ at the Martin Garrix show at New York’s Barclays Center on Saturday (June 13).
