Maren Morris is giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding.
Following the superstar couple’s star-studded wedding at Madison Square Garden in New York on Friday (July 3), the 36-year-old Grammy Award-winning singer took to social media to share photos from the very special celebration.
“Baby, just say yes,” Morris captioned the Instagram post, quoting lyrics from Swift’s hit song “Love Story.”
The merry-go-round features a glamorous photo of Morris in a black dress alongside fellow country star Kelsea Ballerini, who also attended the wedding.
Among the standout details Morris shared were custom white lace handkerchiefs that were likely given to guests as wedding favors. The embroidered keepsake features the couple’s intertwined “TT” monogram and the date and location of the ceremony stitched in cursive. Beneath the initials are the lyrics to “Blank Space” from Swift’s 2014 chart-topping album 1989: “So it’s Gonna forever…”
“Insert love story lyrics and wine drunk lyrics,” Ballerini commented on the post.
Morris and Ballerini also reposted a video Miranda Lambert posted to her Instagram Stories showing a limo bus packed with several country stars, apparently on their way to the pop superstar’s wedding to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end. In another clip, the two singers can be heard singing along to Swift’s “Love Story,” which reached No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2009.
Shortly before the wedding, Morris appeared on the Today show and joked about what gifts he should buy the superstar couple. “What do you get? It’s going to be hard to buy,” she said.
The “My Church” singer also expressed her excitement for the newlyweds. “I think she has a very close connection to New York and, yeah, I’m so excited for them to celebrate their love,” she said. “That’s pretty cool.”
Details of the ceremony were not yet known as of press time, but it was confirmed on Saturday that Stevie Nicks would perform at the wedding at Madison Square Garden.
According to TMZ, actor and comedian Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony, and also performed a humorous and heartfelt original song celebrating the couple’s love.
The couple welcomed more than 1,000 guests, but without the traditional bridesmaids or groomsmen. Instead, Swift’s younger brother, Austin Swift, served as her man of honor, and Jason Kelce served as her brother’s chaperone.
Among the many celebrities arriving at the venue were Jack Antonoff, Mariska Hargitay, Ed Sheeran, the Haim sisters, Benson Boone and Camila Cabello.
