Apparently, she “woke up to a bunch of texts saying people were misunderstanding the situation.” “I never insulted my friends and it wasn’t an insult,” Gomez wrote in a quick snap of the view from her bed. “The comment was a reaction to the first slide on the page.”
“Second, I bet my friends on this game,” she continued, referring to screenshots of text messages she previously posted with other friends, which some seemed to confuse with her comments on a post about Swift. “I lost, but I was making fun of my opponents and my friends. Believe it or not, I have other friends. But forget right away that most people think otherwise.”

It all started when MTV shared two Instagram snaps of Swift from the New York Knicks vs. San Antonio Spurs game at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday (June 10). The first photo shows the 14-time Grammy Award winner hugging Mariska Hargitay. Hargitay looked exhausted after several hours of barely cheering on the New York team.
