Electric Callboy have released a new single, “Let the Good Times Roll,” featuring The Offspring’s Dexter Holland. This is the latest preview of their next album “TANZNEID” which will be released on August 7th.

The song combines Electric Call Boy’s genre-blurring electrocore, a metalcore breakdown that collides with glow stick-enabled techno drops and grinning pop hooks, and Holland’s unmistakable tenor, the voice behind 1994’s No. 1 Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart hit “Come Out and Play” and that chart’s No. 4 hit, “Self Esteem.”

The collaboration represents a full-circle moment for the German band, which cites The Offspring as a foundational influence. “The Offspring is one of the bands that shaped us from the beginning,” Electric Callboy said in a statement. “Their music has been a part of our lives long before Electric Callboy existed, so having Dexter on this song honestly feels surreal.”

The Netherlands were equally keen on the combination. “When Electric Callboy sent us the truck, it immediately put a smile on our faces,” he said.

“It’s energetic, unpredictable, and doesn’t take itself too seriously, which is exactly the spirit we’ve always loved about punk and rock music. It was so much fun to be a part of ‘Let the Good Times Roll.'”

The single will be released to coincide with the start of Electric Callboy’s European festival season, with appearances at Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park this week. The TANZNEID World Tour also includes a September tour in Australia hosted by Destroy All Lines with special guests Ice Nine Kills and Coldrain.

Shows open at Perth’s RAC Arena on September 4, followed by Adelaide’s AEC Arena on September 6, Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on September 8, Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on September 10, and Brisbane’s River Stage on September 12 and 13, with the September 12 show already sold out. Tickets are on sale now at destroyalllines.com.

Formed in Germany in 2010, Electric Callboy has grown into one of heavy music’s most genre-defying global bands on the strength of viral hits such as “Hypa Hypa,” “We Got the Moves,” and “RATATATA” featuring BABYMETAL. Their 2022 album TEKKNO racked up hundreds of millions of streams worldwide. TANZNEID is available for pre-order now.
