Travis Kelsey looked like he was having the time of his life on Friday night (June 19) at Golden Voice and Framework’s Chris Lake Los Angeles Historic Park show, bouncing to the beat and roaring to the crowd of over 20,000 people.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, who is engaged to Taylor Swift, appeared at one night of Lake’s sold-out special two-night event at Los Angeles State Historic Park, where Billboard sources say Kelce shared a VIP table with teammates and friends before taking the microphone next to Lake.
Lake has a musical connection with the pop star, having previously remixed Life of a Showgirl’s single “Oparite.”
A show reel shared on Instagram by concertgoers @mitrave and @bodybybina shows Kelce trying to get the crowd excited on stage, then shouting wildly into the sound system.
And in a clip posted by Framework, which co-produced with Golden Voice, between Friday and Saturday night, Kelce can be seen gleefully jumping and dancing next to a lake, surrounded by bubbles filling the air.
Swift did not attend the show with her fiancé and was rumored to have been enjoying a ladies’ weekend with friends at her Watch Hill estate in Westerly, Rhode Island, on Saturday. It seems that the two are planning to get married soon. Swifties wonder if New York City Mayor Zoran Mamdani confirmed rumors last week that the couple would tie the knot in Manhattan on Independence Day. City officials said Mamdani’s comments were based solely on a TMZ report that Swift applied for a permit to perform at Madison Square Garden over the July 4th weekend.
Lake’s show in Los Angeles on Friday featured support acts Ivo, Lazy Bang and Kitty. Saturday’s lineup will once again be led by Lake, with Hot Since 82, Club de Combat and Strawberry also scheduled.
Lake connected with Kelce via Instagram DM in January to rework the pure pop of Swift’s “Oparite” into a club-ready track. The NFL player said his 2025 album Chemistry is his favorite. In creating his version of Swift’s release, Lake told Billboard in March, “I had to find a way to combine the mood and emotion of the song with the beats from my world.” [the remix] It makes sense as something that would fit in with the other songs in my world without getting in the way. ”
