Zendaya shared an adorable photo of herself and Tom Holland after he finally confirmed they were married.
In a merry-go-round photo posted on Tuesday (June 23), the singer and actress poses in a red and blue dress at the Spider-Man: Brand New Day photocall in Italy. The final slide shows Holland smiling at the camera and kissing his co-star-turned-wife on the forehead.
“Just hopped in from a stop in Rome to say hi,” Zendaya wrote with a heart emoji.
The beloved photo is the first photo she has shared of Holland since she revealed in an interview with Esquire magazine on June 16 that they were already a couple. “Because they were all there,” he added after saying that his immediate family wasn’t fooled by the AI-generated photos of him and Zendaya’s purported wedding.
But he praised the multi-hyphenated spouse for the publication. “It’s really great to have the foundation of a relationship that will stand the test of time,” he said at the time. “I found the right person for me. She’s my best friend and I’m the happiest I’ve ever been with her, but I’ve never felt so supported and safe.”
Zendaya and Holland, who have had six songs chart on the Billboard Hot 100, first met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming. They have kept their relationship details and timeline private, but it appears they got engaged around January 2025.
Now, their latest Spider-Man movie, which opens in theaters on July 31st, comes full circle with the leading man and woman getting married off-screen. Fans had wondered for a while whether Zendaya and Holland had tied the knot in private until the Devil All the Time star confirmed it, especially after the Shake It Up alum’s longtime friend and stylist Law Roach teased in a March interview with Access Hollywood, “The wedding already happened! You missed it.”
