Food Delivery Startup Wonder has acquired Media Company Tastemade for around $90 million, according to the Wall Street Journal. Founded in 2012, Tastemade produces food, travel, home videos and operates a free, ad-supported streaming television (high-speed) channel.

This acquisition gives you mysterious access to content studios, production companies and advertising businesses. Wonder will use all of these assets to promote its brand to a larger audience, the company says.

The agreement marks Wonder’s latest steps towards his mission to create a mealtime “super app.” Wonder Founder and CEO Mark Roar, who previously headed e-commerce at Walmart, wants to turn Wonder into an AI app.

The acquisition could soon allow users to place delivery orders for food that the chef sees as being prepared on Tastemade’s streaming channel.

Previous acquisitions of Wonder include Blue Epron and Grubhub. The startup has raised a total of $1.6 billion so far.
