With a fresh $23 million in funding, Widhidai aims to create AI hallucinations for business analytics. It starts with something called “Business Insight Agents.” These are AI-powered tools that help teams navigate real-time beyond static dashboards and surface answers that do not require analysts or SQL skills. The platform combines a set of inference agents with what we describe as a “knowledge fabric” that understands how business data is connected and contextualized. The idea is to help businesses find trends early, break down silos and make smarter calls faster.
Founded by Rubrik co-founder Soham Mazumdar, Widhidai is building an AI-driven platform that helps businesses make faster and smarter decisions. By connecting scattered data and replacing dashboards with intelligent agents, startups want to have direct access to insights that can act.
Widdai is the first agent data insight platform equipped with a self-learning AI agent that can infer through complex business problems, including supply chain analysis, sales forecasting, and answering harsh strategic questions. It is already being used by industry giants and Fortune 100 companies such as Cisco and Conocophillips
Why dashboards still fail in modern business?
Lots of tools promise self-service data. Some delivery. Despite years of advances in business intelligence, most employees still rely on analysts to run reports and update their dashboards. If you want to ask new questions or tweak how your data is displayed, you’ll hit a wall.
“Despite advances in data analytics, dashboards often lack a lot when it comes to enabling true self-service,” says Mark Nelson, former CEO of Tableau. “Business users are often limited to insights predefined by the analyst who created the dashboard.
