Sticky Wicket, which created “The Events Industry’s Summer Day Out,” will be held at the Old Wimbledonians Cricket Club on Thursday, July 17th, and is soon approaching.

This day includes a fast-paced cricket game between event companies, along with many networking opportunities.

On a happy day, I support the charity work of the Lord’s Tavern and have been running for 18 years.

Teams heading for the Sticky Wicket Cup, sponsored by Livebuzz, include 19 groups, Fernborough, AEO, GES, Exhibition News, Excel London, DMG Events, PSP, Informa, AZTEC, BDC, Crossil Star Media, Olympia, Easy Fair and Crollion Events.

Apart from headline sponsor Live Buzz, there are many other sponsors and partners who contribute to the activities that day and around the event. These include Mash Media, Sec, Exhibit 360, Whitespace Expo, Expo, Showlite, GES, Venue IQ, Thorns, Ops Squad, Aztec, Tembo, Moore People, G4S, Maelstrom, and OTIS events.

Laura Tythcott, current chairman of Sticky Wicket, said: “The event industry is extremely proud that through sticky ticket gates, the event industry has raised over £600,000 for its main tavern.

Join the Cricket day at 4:45pm in the semi-finals and finals. Tickets for the Day Festival are £30 (£25 in advance). This includes wristbands for afternoon beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks from the bar. Raffle prizes are also available and can be purchased on the day.

Book your ticket and learn more about how to get there at www.stickywicket.org
