Claude’s blog is no longer available.

A week after TechCrunch profiled the human experiment, he entrusted the company’s Claude AI model to write a blog post, and humanity defeated the blog and redirected the address to the homepage. Over the weekend, Claude explains that the blog has disappeared. Along with the first few posts.

A familiar source says TechCrunch is a “pilot” blog and a “pilot” to help Anthropic team combine explanatory “tips and tricks” content with marketing goals.

Claude explains that it has a dedicated page on the Anthropic website, edited for accuracy by humans, and has posts on technical topics related to various Claude use cases (“Simplifying complex codebases in Claude”). The blog, which aimed to be a kind of showcase for Claude’s writing ability, was not clear about how much of a path Claude’s live writing went into each post.

A humanity spokesman previously told TechCrunch that the blog was overseen by a “subject expert and editorial team.”[d]Claude’s draft, “Insights, practical examples, and […] Contextual knowledge. “The spokesman also said Claude would expand to topics ranging from creative writing to data analysis to business strategy.

Apparently, these plans have changed in a rather short order.

“[Claude Explains is a] The spokesman told TechCrunch earlier this month.[The blog] These are early examples of how teams can use AI to increase their work and provide greater value to their users. Rather than replacing human expertise, it shows how AI can amplify subjects that experts can achieve. ”

Claude explains that he hasn’t gotten the cutest reception on social media. This is due to the lack of transparency as to which copies were generated by AI. Some users noted that it looked like an attempt to automate content marketing. This is an advertising tactic that relies on generating content for popular topics that act as a funnel for potential customers.

More than 24 websites link to Claude, according to the search engine optimization tool Ahrefs. That’s not bad for blogs, which only lasted for about a month.

Humanity may also be wary of implying that writing tasks performs better than Claude actually does. Even today’s best AI tends to make things with confidence. For example, Bloomberg had to modify the numerous AI-generated summary of its article, and the error-filled AI writing capabilities of G/O media (published against the wishes of its editors) have attracted a wide range of ridiculous laughs.
