Biolargo, Inc. is Verralize, Inc. We have started the “Alpha Test” portable PFAS test kit developed by.

Verralize’s “Lab-on-a-sensor” PFAS test kit allows for rapid and on-site detection of Forever Chemicals, which are regulated under the US Safe Drinking Water Act.

The kit is user-friendly, cost-effective and allows you to distinguish between different PFAS molecules, making it a powerful tool for water treatment operators to ensure system performance and public safety.

Dr. Saion Sinha, CEO of Verralize commented:

“By combining Verralize’s portable PFAS rapid detection capabilities with Biolargo’s effective repair technology, we create compelling, streamlined solutions that directly address accessibility for municipalities and communities in need.”

Addresses PFA contamination quickly and affordable

By reducing the need to send samples to the lab, Verralize PFAS test kits may enable water treatment operators to respond to contamination and make treatment decisions faster and more affordable.

This strategic initiative aims to ensure that testing techniques meet Biolargo’s strict standards before they are integrated into the delivery of PFAS treatments.

Evaluation of survival rates for PFAS test kits

The tests will be conducted at Oak Ridge, Biolargo, Tennessee, in collaboration with Biolargo’s existing and scheduled pilot projects, utilizing contaminated water provided by the client.

In addition to assessing the commercial viability of the test kit itself, the use of the kit helps improve the performance of Biolargo’s proprietary PFAS treatment system more rapidly than laboratory-generated data.

“We are pleased to announce that we are committed to providing a range of services and services to our customers,” said Tonya Chandler, president of Biolargo Equipment Solutions & Technologies.

“Verralize’s kits offer the simplicity, affordability and differentiation of PFAS compounds, making them an invaluable tool for clients and internal development groups. We combine this PFAS test kit with AEC to validate both technologies into the market.”

The road to commercialization

Once the validation is successful, Biolargo plans to launch the PFAS test kit as a critical component of PFAS treatment services, providing clients with a faster, more cost-effective way to monitor faster, more cost-effective methods in real time.

Like Biolargo’s other PFAS processing solutions, Verralize test kits are available for distribution through Biolargo’s nationwide network of manufacturers’ sales representatives.

Biolargo and Verralize will be introducing Biolargo’s PFAS solutions and Verralize test kits at the Water Environment Federation’s 98th Annual Technology Exhibition (WEFTEC 2025) this September.
