The Google 2025 event created specifically before Apple’s hardware events take place in September.
On Wednesday, Tech Giant debuted the Pixel 10 series, new foldable, Pixel Watch 4, second generation of cost-friendly A-series earphones, and Gemini’s generation AI features.
Get ready for Gemini boost

Google has already dropped some AI-related updates at its developer meeting in May, but the company has demonstrated more Gemini features during the Pixel 10 event. In recent YouTube videos promoting new devices, Google appeared to be enjoying Apple’s failed promise with the advancement of Apple Intelligence on the iPhone.
Gemini Live has been upgraded this year so when you ask questions you can share your camera and your assistant can follow you and guide you. For example, share images of your room with AI to get interior design ideas.
I also got a boost by taking photos with the Pixel 10. For example, a new feature called “Camera Coach” allows Gemini to provide real-time tips for taking better photos. AI can see what’s going on and suggest the best angle and lighting for your shot.
Plus, there’s a new conversation photo editing tool. Here we will tell Gemini what you want to fine-tune with your photos, such as increasing brightness, deleting objects, changing backgrounds, and more.
Pixel 10, 10 Pro, and 10 Pro XL

The standard pixel 10 phone has undergone a major change, a feature exclusive to the Pro model, especially with the addition of a dedicated telephoto lens. Google released a teaser for the Pixel 10 ahead of Wednesday’s event.

The company says the new 5x telephoto lens is the best zoom quality, and the 100x Pro Res Zoom allows for high quality close-ups.
Additionally, all phones in the lineup will feature new tensor G5 processors, leading the Gemini era, improving performance and power efficiency compared to tensor G4 chips.
Apart from these updates, there were not many obvious changes. The basic design of the mobile phone is the same as the basic design of the Pixel 9 series. The display remains the same, with the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro with 6.3-inch displays and the Pixel 10 Pro XL with a larger 6.8-inch display.
The Pro model also improves camera and video quality, improves battery size, faster charging, and ultimately addresses the longevity gap between pixels and flagship phones from Apple and Samsung.
In particular, this is the first time a pixel device has been released in Mexico. The Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL will be available domestically. However, LTE models for the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel Watch 4 are not available.
pixelsnap

In particular, the Pixel 10 devices incorporate magnetic technology thanks to the company’s version of Magsafe, PixelsNap. Google has released a line of magnetic accessories to pair with the lineup, including a new $40 PixelsNap charger that supports QI2 wireless charging. The company also launched a $50 phone case with a magnetic ring in the center, and a $30 ring stand for hands-free use.
Pixel 10 Pro fold

For Google’s latest folding, there’s an 8-inch main screen plus a large cover display that measures approximately 6.4 inches. Google also improves the strength of the hinge, and the bezel is thinner due to its refined appearance.
Another exciting addition is the IP68 rating. This is the first evaluation of the device. This means that the Pixel 9 Pro Fold has zero dust protection, while still being able to withstand both dust and water.
Like other pixel-10 phones, the Pro fold is equipped with a new G5 chip and includes the latest Gemini AI features. The camera system also has improved, with a potentially 48 megapixel ultra-width lens and a telephoto lens with a 5x optical zoom. Also, the phone has improved battery life.
The Pixel 10 Pro fold costs $1,799 and is available for Moonstone and Jade Colors.
Pixel Journal App

Tech Giant is coming to Apple’s Journal app with the Pixel Journal, a new journaling app for Pixel 10 devices. The app allows you to create entries, add photos, locations, activities, and lock entries for privacy. The app also includes AI features, including quick suggestions to inspire.
Pixel Watches and Pixel Blossoms

Also, wearables get time to shine at Google events, while the Pixel Watch 4 gets a thicker design, longer battery life and a smaller bezel. The smartwatch also introduced its own AI features, including the ability to lift your wrist and access the Gemini.
The Pixel Buds 2a offers much-needed upgrades from the first generation of A-series earphones, and comes with active noise cancellation and fun new colors, hazel and iris. The Pixel Buds Pro 2 introduces a new Gemini feature for answering calls with gestures and is available in new Moonstone colors.
Fitbit wins AI-powered health coaches

Google has announced a personal health coach powered by the Fitbit Fitness Tracking App with new AI.
This feature allows users to create customized training routines by discussing their goals, preferences and available equipment. AI coaches generate personalized fitness plans with workout suggestions and adjust plans in real time based on user data to help you achieve your fitness goals.
AI trainers also serve as sleep coaches and provide insight into how to improve the quality of your sleep.
A preview of AI Coach will be available in October. It is integrated into a redesigned Fitbit app and works with the latest Fitbit trackers, smartwatches, and pixel watches.
Gemini is coming to smart home devices

The company has announced “Gemini for Home,” a new AI voice assistant that will replace Google Assistant with Google’s smart home devices, including nested doorbells, security cameras, speakers, thermostats and more.
Gemini for Home works similarly to Google Assistant, but users still require that they say “Hey Google” to activate it. However, Google claims that it will be more powerful and easier to use, allowing for more complex requests.
It can be useful for specific tasks such as “Song of the Year Winner in 1990”, allowing you to run multiple commands at the same time to control your home, such as dimming the lights and adjusting the temperature at the same time.
Gemini Live is also integrated into your home device to allow for natural, two-way conversations, brainstorming ideas and providing personalized advice. To get started, just say, “Google, let’s chat.”
Over time, the company says that Gemini for Home will replace the Google Assistant on existing speakers and displays, offering both free and paid versions. Early access begins in October.
