Selena Gomez isn’t wearing the same hair color as before.
In a recent Instagram update, the singer and actress showed off a new shade of red she’s got for the upcoming season of Only Murders in the Building, which is currently filming in London.
In the photo posted on Wednesday (June 3), Gomez saved the makeover for last and started the merry-go-round with snaps of herself and co-stars Martin Short and Steve Martin with Big Ben in the background, as well as a canoeing trip with friends. “While I was in love with London, something crazy happened with @onlymurdershulu,” she wrote in the caption.
The last two slides serve as a big reveal, with Gomez showing off her deep, dark red curls in selfies and videos.
It’s unclear whether the star has dyed her hair or is just wearing a wig, but it looks like her character, Mabel, will be rocking red at some point in The Only Murders Season 6. Hulu has not yet announced when the next series will premiere, but it will air following season 5, which aired from September to October last year.
“Well, it looks like our family is all going to London…” Gomez wrote on Instagram after the series was renewed for season six. “We want to thank our community and the fans of @onlymurdershulu for allowing us to create Season 6! Forever grateful for what joy we can bring you all. A huge thank you from Steve, Marty, and myself.”
Another project Gomez has in the works is the final season of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, where she will make her directorial debut. She recently reunited with Miley Cyrus and made a cameo appearance on the Hannah Montana anniversary special.
