Fans of Rosalía who were hoping to see her in Florida during her Luxe World Tour will have to wait as all three dates have been postponed until further notice.
A representative for the artist confirmed the news to Billboard without providing further details.
The news was announced on Thursday (June 4) in a post shared on Kaseya Center’s official Instagram account. This venue was scheduled for two performances, including a Miami performance that kicks off the US leg of her tour.
“Due to a family emergency, Rosalía has to postpone her shows scheduled for June 4th and 6th in Miami. We apologize for disappointing her fans, but given the circumstances, she had no other choice,” the post reads, urging attendees to secure their tickets. “We will provide more details soon. Thank you for your patience.”
Live Nation’s announcement regarding X confirms the postponement of the third date scheduled for Monday, June 8th at the Kia Center in Orlando.
“Due to a family emergency, Rosalía must postpone her scheduled shows in Miami and Orlando,” Live Nation’s post read as well. “We are sorry to disappoint her fans, but given the circumstances she has no other choice. Please hold on to your tickets as we are considering rescheduling the tour. Further details will be provided soon.”
Rosalia’s LUX tour includes performances in 42 arenas across 17 countries in Europe, the United Kingdom, North America, and Latin America. The North American leg of the tour includes dates in 11 cities including Boston, Toronto, New York, Chicago, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Diego and Oakland.
