Lady Gaga kept baby news secret from ‘inner circle,’ has ‘completely secluded herself’

Lady Gaga’s “inner circle” found out the singer’s baby news “when everyone else did,” multiple sources told Page Six.

“Nearly nobody knew,” one insider shared with us, claiming the Grammy winner’s “closest confidantes … had no idea.”

The “extremely happy” performer, who “keeps her circle tight as it is,” is spending a lot of her time in Northern California with fiancé Michael Polansky and has “completely secluded herself with the baby.”

The source continued, “She’s loving being a mom. … She wanted to do these big tours and I think now she’s done performing at least for a very long while. She just wants to be a mom now.”

Another insider — who is a friend of the singer who Page Six delivered the news to — clarified they were “not offended” by the “Bad Romance” hitmaker, born Stefani Germanotta, choosing secrecy and “laying low since her [‘Mayhem’] tour ended” in April.

“It’s amazing. I’m so excited for her and happy that they kept her a secret,” the individual gushed. “It’s a healthy thing for her to be able to have secrets with her partner. They have an amazing biodome of love that they have. Seems like a really safe place for her.”

The insider, notably, is “pro Michael” and “very pro of her being able to have some of semblance of a normal life carved out.”

The first source doubled down on 42-year-old Polansky being a “really nice, normal guy.”

Gaga’s rep did not respond to Page Six’s request for comment. To date, neither Gaga nor her representatives have made any official announcement confirming she is a mother, whether the baby was born via surrogate or the baby’s name or gender.

Page Six broke the news earlier this month that Gaga’s little one had arrived.

While the infant’s name, sex and date of birth were not known at the time, TMZ reported last week that the songwriter, 40, welcomed a baby girl via surrogate on June 9 in Los Angeles.

The 3-month-old is named Rose Bean, with both monikers holding special meaning.

Gaga, notably, performed “La Vie En Rose” in her 2018 film, “A Star Is Born” — and another of her songs “Born This Way” was inspired by activist Carl Bean.

Page Six previously reported that Gaga and Polansky, who went public with their romance in 2020, have been trying to start a family as far back as 2024, the same year the entrepreneur, 42, popped the question.

“Stefani’s had a hard road to travel physically,” a source explained to us. “There have been moments of giddiness and moments of despair. It has been so sad. It’s a real tale of hard times, both physical and emotional, en route to this happy ending.

“She’s had severe hip issues and a heap of other physical ailments, alongside everything she puts her body through when performing,” the insider continued.
