Keegan Allen 911 dispatch audio revealed after actor’s bloody LA grocery store attack
Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department deputies discussed Keegan Allen’s “assault” in 911 dispatch audio exclusively obtained by Page Six.
On Thursday night, the actor was attacked while in the parking lot of Laurel Supply, a high-end grocery store in West Hollywood, Calif.
We heard dispatchers communicating about an “assault” at 8445 Santa Monica Blvd., where Laurel Supply is located, shortly before deputies responded to the scene just after 9 p.m.
A rep for the LASD told us the call for service was placed for a “robbery.”
“Upon arrival, deputies contacted a male adult, who stated he was approached by two male adults dressed in black clothing. One suspect pointed a silver handgun at the victim while the other pointed a knife and demanded the victim’s watch and bracelet,” the rep said in a statement.
“Shortly after, the victim was struck in the face with the handgun. The suspects obtained the victim’s watch and fled the scene in an unknown vehicle.”
The victim, 37-year-old Allen, “sustained a laceration to his forehead,” which he showed off in a graphic Instagram video immediately following the attack.
LASD noted that the LA County Fire Department also responded to the scene and medically evaluated him but that he was not transported to the hospital.
Allen was later admitted to an unidentified hospital under the impression he had suffered a concussion, per one of his replies to a worried Instagram commenter.
“I was just robbed of my watch. I’m outside of Laurel Supply,” the out-of-breath “Pretty Little Liars” star told his followers in the selfie-style footage as a significant amount of blood dripped from the top of his head down the left side of his face and across his neck.
“Can you call the police?” he asked someone off camera.
Video surveillance footage from the ambush then flashed across the screen as Allen explained, “These two dudes hit me in the head, pointed a gun at me with a knife and then took off.”
Allen added that the suspects, who were wearing dark hoodies and approached him as he was entering his car, “had masks on.” He then held up his bloody arm to show that they “took [his] watch.”
Allen responded to a handful of fans expressing concern in his comments section, saying, “I’m def concussed and at hospital.”
The “Walker” star told someone else that the suspects demanded he hand over a bracelet he was wearing, but when he told them the bracelet is “not easy to take off,” they “pistol-whipped” him.
“The watch is a bummer,” he admitted to another Instagram user, “but having a gun and knife in my face and then brutally hit across the face and head was so unnecessary.”
Despite how “unsafe” he feels in the “hellhole” that has become West Hollywood in recent years, Allen remains hopeful that deputies “will” catch the suspects.
When someone suggested he “get a gun” for protection, the “King Cobra” star said he has one but claimed the city “doesn’t allow concealed carry.”
An individual with a valid, California-recognized concealed carry weapon (CCW) permit may carry a concealed handgun on public streets and sidewalks in West Hollywood, but the rules are legally complex with regard to private businesses that are open to the public.
Reps for Allen did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
