Star midfielder Jude Bellingham will not play for Real Madrid in Lariga until March 9th. Joining the club’s recent struggle.
Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham was hit by a two-match Lariga ban by the Spanish Football Federation’s Disciplinary Committee after being challenged.
England International was rejected by referee Josemnula Montero in a 1-1 draw for the champions at Osasuna on Saturday.
He expressed his frustration and claimed he had not shamed the referee, Bellingham missed the league match between Girona and Real Betis on February 23 and March 2 respectively.
The Disciplinary Committee said Madrid’s attempt to show that Bellingham is not “inadequate” to remove “estimate of the truthfulness of the judge’s report.”
Bellingham said his firing was a misunderstanding.
“I think you can see clearly on the video. I remember the incident very well, it was an expression [I was saying] To myself,” the 21-year-old said Wednesday.
“I’m not pointing myself at the judge, but there was obviously a misunderstanding. He believes I said that. [something insulting] To him. ”
A Real Madrid source told AFP news agency the club would appeal the decision.
Judgment Munula Montero has been facing online abuse and threats for days since he sent out Bellingham, which the Commonwealth described as “repulsion.”
Real Madrid has attacked Spanish judges in recent weeks and has “equipped” them in letters sent to the federal government and published on their website.
The Los Blancos have not won the last three league games, and rival Barcelona is now leading the table on goal differences.
