Beam, an association representing business within the event, accommodation and conference industry, has announced the appointment of three new directors to play an integral role in moving the association forward.
Tracy Winsworth, managing director of Trinity Event Solutions, joined Beam Board in October 2024 and will be Commercial Director with Ben Hioco.
They will focus on building strategic relationships, enhancing industry collaboration with key partners, and developing best practices to help Beam members achieve their business goals.
Winsworth said: “Our aim is to establish meaningful partnerships that enhance the collective strength of the industry while providing direct value to our members. We are committed to providing them with the best resources for growth. and we want to ensure that we have the opportunity.”
Ben Hull, managing director of Bright Vision Events, joined the board this month (February 2025) as Marketing Director, working in collaboration with the Marketing Action Group and Agency Engagement Group to strengthen Beam’s identity, Agents will expand their appeal to more audiences.
Hull said: “By strengthening who we are and what we stand for, we can increase our presence within the industry and further increase our members’ engagement and value.”
Eventuous’s sales director Kieron Bowen is also on the board and will assume responsibility as ESG Director. In this role, Kieron will work with his co-partners to strengthen Beam’s sustainability proposals and ensure that ESG remains at the forefront of the association’s agenda.
Each director is supported by a dedicated Beam Action Group (BAG) consisting of volunteers representing Beam memberships, ensuring a collaborative and inclusive approach to leadership.
Beam Chairman Louise Watson said: “Beam’s strength lies in its ability to represent the collective voice of diverse membership, and board appointments reflect this. With leadership-spanning agencies, suppliers and venues, we are committed to providing industry-wide abilities. We are well positioned to support our evolving needs.”
