Dublin, Ireland, May 12, 2025, Chain Wire

AB DAO and AB Charity Foundation co-hosted the first “high-tech-led charity forum” in Dublin, Ireland, marking a major milestone in their joint mission to reconstruct the global philanthropic landscape through technology and trust.

The forum was chaired by Bertie Ahern, chairman of the AB Charity Foundation, former Ireland’s prime minister and former president of the Council of Europe. In his keynote address entitled “Technology and Trust – A New Order of Charity,” Ahern emphasized the importance of building trustworthy systems for the public in the digital age.

Notable guests included his former Nigerian president, Olsegun Obasanjo, and former chairman of the African Union, as well as Malcolm Byrne, an Irish lawmaker and chairman of the Artificial Intelligence Committee. Together, participants explored ways emerging technologies such as blockchain and AI can enhance global well-being and increase transparency in philanthropy.

Anthony Tsang, the representative of AB public blockchain, has announced the latest technical breakthroughs, including high-performance mainnets, AB connection cross-chain protocols, and universal transport protocols that enable gas-free transactions. In his presentation, AB DAO’s long-term vision outlined the creation of a globally compliant infrastructure for philanthropy powered by decentralized technology.

The forum’s key proposals will be integrated by the AB Charity Foundation and submitted to the United Nations and the Global Partner Network to continue joint efforts to promote “technology” in actual initiatives.

About AB Charity Foundation

The AB Charity Foundation is a legally registered entity in Ireland and holds full legal status in the EU. Supported by AB DAO’s technology and funding, the foundation is working to build a transparent, traceable global charitable infrastructure using blockchain and AI.
