The Founders Fund is leading another large round for defensive technology startup Andurill with a billion investment as part of the new $2.5 billion salary increase, the biggest check the company has written to date. An Andrill spokesperson told TechCrunch that existing investors have also accumulated.

Anduril doubled the valuation to $30.5 billion for this Series G Raise. A spokesperson says the round was oversubscribed by more than eight times as much, and more investors wanted to buy than Andrill’s stock price.

Anduril makes autonomous weapons and software to control them, but says new funds have been raised after revenues reached around $1 billion in 2024.

The company also enjoys tail fins after being granted a massive US Army contract to develop new AR/VR headsets for soldiers. The deal was originally granted to Microsoft on a $22 billion budget, but was reassigned to Andrill in February. The deal was so big that it publicly allowed Andrill founder Palmer Lucky to publicly grant his former employer meta last week as the two announced a partnership to create devices for the project.

Trae Stephens, executive chair of Anduril and founder fund partner, revealed the new funds in an interview on Bloomberg TV.
