Most AI coding tools today feel like an extra pair of hands, but they’re not very smart. You can autocomplete lines, propose snippets, and assist developers with repetitive tasks. However, they rarely work independently and do not know for certain companies how to build software.
Autonomyai bets that it is a work that lacks context.
AI startups emerged from stealth at $4 million in pre-seed funds to tackle the challenges faced by many engineering teams. A way to have AI write production-grade front-end code that can be used out of the box.
The round includes participation from Inbound Capital, Gilad Shany of Ion Partners, and Vikram Makhiija, senior director of Google Cloud Security.
Unlike many AI coding tools that act as assistants, Autonomyai’s platform is embedded in the company’s existing workflows, learning development standards and creating code that meets the organization’s requirements. The company says it will reduce work days to minutes, improve team productivity by over 44%, and boast a 95% code acceptance rate.
At the heart of Autonomyai’s products is the Agent Context Engine (ACE). This is a system that connects to the company’s existing workflows and organizational structure. From there, AI agents can perform actual development work. Fetch UI specifications, create components based on the company’s design system, pull from the codebase, and deliver consistent, testable code. There are no prompts. There is no micromanagement.
“To date, AI solutions for code development work in silos and lack a context for organizations and their goals, helping individual developers complete tasks rather than following the company’s sprint cycle,” said CEO Adir Ben-Yehuda. “We let agents know their business needs and allow them to simply ‘run’. This is practical AI and the future of AI-driven development. ”
The timing may be correct. IDC predicts global spending on AI support technologies will reach $749 billion by 2028. Of the $227 billion forecast for 2025, two-thirds will be directed towards business-centric tools like AI agents, covering spending on the cloud and digital service providers for the first time. Earlier this year in Davos, Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff said adopting the Agent AI suite will help the company redistribute its resources more effectively.
Autonomyai believes connecting AI to the context of an organization is a true breakthrough, not just a smarter autocomplete.
“Autonomy AI is the first AI coding solution to truly understand and adapt to the unique context of your business,” said Arik Faingold, Chairman and Co-Founder. “Engineers can dramatically improve efficiency while allowing organizations to put more resources into business logic and impact projects.”
Faingold co-founded the company with CTO Tammuz Dubnov, whose engineering team includes four former CTOs. Its depth of technical experience, focusing on the organizational context, has attracted investors like Girad Shanny. “The vision of Autonomyai’s leadership team represents a fundamental change in the way organizations use AI, and this will soon become a new standard,” Shany said.
Autonomyai is not promising. It’s a promising agent who actually knows what your team is trying to build and can do that.
