Keeping track of all your favorite artists’ upcoming releases can be a little difficult. It’s not uncommon for musicians to tease an album and then reveal a release date, but often LPs just get postponed for one reason or another (sometimes multiple times) and no new release date is attached. Additionally, some albums are announced days before their release.
But we have you! As the new year has just begun, musicians across genres have begun to preview new projects and announce the release dates of their albums for the new year. And just like our last few trips around the sun, we’re building a calendar to keep track of all the year’s notable releases.
One of the most anticipated releases was Hilary Duff’s first album in 10 years, Luck…or Something, which came out in February. The singer and actress first announced her return to music in September, when she revealed a new label deal with Atlantic Records, new music and a documentary series following her return.
BTS also provided ARMY news to celebrate a few days after the new year began. On January 4, the K-pop supergroup revealed that their long-awaited next album will be released in March, coming after the members complete their mandatory duty in the South Korean military and take a year off as a group to focus on their solo careers.
Not to be outdone, fellow K-pop supergroup BLACKPINK released their own new song in early January, and DEADLINE ended in February.
The next day, Harry Styles announced his own album following BLACKPINK’s announcement. The pop superstar’s fourth studio album debuted in March.
As winter turned to spring, female superstars not only teased, but also announced their long-awaited albums. among them? All three projects for Madonna, Olivia Rodrigo and Ariana Grande are expected to arrive by the end of July.
These are just a few of the big releases for 2026. To help you keep track of everything, we’ve organized this calendar chronologically by month and week, and we’ve also added a section for albums that have been announced but don’t yet have a release date.

Keep checking back for the latest album release dates in 2026.
