Disney is once again raising the prices of Disney+ and Hulu subscriptions. Starting October 21st, many of the streaming services’ standalone plans and bundles will see prices rise.

The Disney+ Standalone plan with ads increases from $2 to $11.99 per month, while the NO-ADS Disney+ Premium plan is from $3 to $18.99 per month. The Disney+ Premium Annual Plan is up from $30 a year to $189.99.

The Hulu Standalone plan with ads has increased from $9.99 per month to $11.99. However, the ad-free Hulu premium version remains at $18.99 per month. Additionally, ESPN Select prices have risen from $11.99 per month to $12.99.

Disney+ and Hulu with Ads Bundle subscription prices have risen from $2 to $12.99, while bundles with Disney+, Hulu and ESPN Select Bundles have risen from $3 to $19.99. A full list of Disney+ and Hulu Bundle Plan price increases can be found on the company’s support page.

The timing of price increases is not ideal as Disney+ subscribers cancelled their subscription on Drob last week and protested Disney’s decision to temporarily pull Jimmy Kimmel out of the airwaves.

Disney+ was launched in 2019 with a monthly subscription of $6.99, and has since gradually increased its prices and followed other streaming services. The company’s final price hike was announced in October 2024, when the ad-free plans increased from $13.99 a month to $15.99 a month, and the ad plans increased from $7.99 a month to $9.99 a month.
