DJ AG took over Billboard’s The Stage at London’s SXSW on Wednesday (June 3), bringing his eclectic taste to the UK festival.
The London-based performer was accompanied by a number of musicians during his set, which spanned genres such as garage, hip-hop, R&B, and pop.
AG (real name: Ashley Gordon) has amassed a cult following in recent years with her guerilla DJ sets and big-name guests. Over the years, Will Smith, Akon, AJ Tracy, Skepta, Ciara and more have appeared in his live sets, which are regularly livestreamed on AG’s ever-growing social channels.
Held at Ely’s Yard in Shoreditch, East London, AG welcomed a number of up-and-coming artists through its showcase. American artist Cameron MacLeod, who recently won NPR’s Tiny Desk contest as a member of Cure for Paranoia, made a cameo appearance, as well as high-profile performances by Australian artists Tikara and London-based Aiyama.
US group Infinity Song joined the AG for a brief spot ahead of the showcase event at the nearby Shoreditch Town Hall venue as part of the Mahogany Showcase. The House Gospel Choir, who performed with Harry Styles at the 2026 BRIT Awards and One Night Only Show in Manchester, also made an uplifting guest appearance.
SXSW London, now in its second edition, brings together leading figures in music, film, culture, technology and business for a wide-ranging program of panels, performances and screenings.
The Stage is a staple of SXSW in Austin, Texas, and the 2026 lineup includes Billboard 200 chart-toppers Don Toliver, Mau P, and Junior H. At the inaugural 2025 SXSW London, Thames played a sold-out show at London’s Troxy as part of The Stage.
Other performers at SXSW London 2026 include Rachel Chinouriri, Tiwa Savage, Shame and ODUMODUBLVCK.
