Google tests a new “ASK me” function to call local companies using AI to use AI for information on use and price. This feature can be used on desktops and mobile for users who have selected company search lab experiments.

The idea is to make the user actually pick up the phone and access information without talking to someone.

To start, you can use it to contact us about services at nail salons and car shops.

If you are registered in the search lab, you can search for local services such as “oil change” or “nearby nail salon” to access new features. After that, the “Ask me” option with the “Start” button is displayed.

Next, you will be asked to enter the details of the service, such as “tire replacement”, “factory schedule maintenance”, “French manicure”, “nail art”, etc. From there, you can enter information about the time frame. Google’s AI will call local companies on behalf of customers and provide prices and availability summaries.

Google will be released because you are looking for a way to save time when contacting your business with the help of AI. Last year, the company released a function called “Talk to a Live Rep”. This is to call your business on behalf of you, wait for hold, and then call when the live representative is available.

This feature allows users to listen to the music that users are trying to connect to the customer service agent and have to wait countless time.

Regarding other search labs, Google recently launched “Daily Listen”. This is a personalized AI -equipped audio experience designed to keep personalized news feeds up to date.
