MADRID, Spain – EA Ventures, a venture capital arm of EA Group Holding, has partnered with Global Innovation Platform Plug and Play to launch a 20 million euro investment fund aimed at accelerating early stage startups across Europe. According to EA Ventures, the Madrid-in-Spain fund is hosted by the Plag and Play Emea Fund Management Company, a regulated entity that manages venture initiatives in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
EA Ventures Plug and Play Emea Fund focuses on seed-stage investments in impactful technologies such as artificial intelligence, enterprise solutions, fintech, sustainability, mobility, and e-commerce. Ticket sizes range from 200,000 to 500,000 euros, and aim to support promising European startups ranging from 30 to 35.
“Spain is entering a new wave of high-tech entrepreneurship, with opportunities to bring a fresh perspective rooted in global connectivity and agile capital. This partnership will help founders think and grow across borders.
Officially launched on March 3, 2025, the fund provides portfolio companies with financial support, expert guidance and access to a large international network of plug-and-play companies, investors and advisors.

With this collaboration, Plug and Play’s global acceleration platform features the dynamic, first investment approach of EA Ventures.
