Sydney, Australia, March 19, 2025, Cybernakes Wire

Sydney-based cybersecurity software company KnockNoc has gathered seed rounds from US-based venture capital firm Decibel Partners with support from CoAct and Soments Bentreal.

This funding will help you onboard new staff, customers, and product development, go to the market. The company has appointed Adam Pointon as chief executive.

“The opportunities here are endless,” Pointn said. “It would be difficult to find an organization that could not benefit in any way from using NockNoc.”

NockNoC removes risk exposures by tuning the network infrastructure to tie the user’s network access to SSO authentication status.

By selectively opening network connections to users on a Just-in-Time basis, KnockNoc eliminates the attack surface and solves compliance challenges. KnockNoc prevents attackers from connecting to network devices and applications types that are prone to zero-day attacks.

Customers use KnockNoc to protect VPNs and firewalls, IP cameras, payroll systems, file transfer appliances, Bastion hosts, and other applications and network services. KnockNoc is also easy to use on cloud-based infrastructure.

It can also be used in an internal network to add multifactor authentication to legacy systems to meet compliance requirements.

KnockNoc has appointed Patrick Gray, founder advisor to Decibel Partners and CEO of high-risk business media, to the board.

“KnockNoc is a great way for organizations to quickly and easily reduce exposure to the types of attacks that are currently plaguing businesses,” says Gray. “It’s easy, it’s quick to implement and it’s quick to benefit.”

KnockNoc is already used by key infrastructure, large telecommunications networks and media companies in Australia and the US.

Knocknock was founders of Andrew Foster, David Kempe and Adam Pointe.
