Los Azures featuring Diplo’s Major Lazer and Belinda and Elena Rose are among the artists scheduled to take the stage for the 2026 FIFA World Cup Countdown Concert Series, FIFA announced on Tuesday (June 2). The show will be held simultaneously in Mexico City, Los Angeles and Toronto on June 10th.
Developed in conjunction with the Grammy Awards, the Countdown Concert Series connects the three host countries (Mexico, the United States and Canada) with synchronized shows held in advance of the tournament, featuring international stars.
In Mexico City, Los Angeles Azules, the iconic cumbia band featuring pop star Belinda and Venezuelan singer-songwriter Elena Rose, will headline a historic night at Auditorio Nacional. According to the press release, a yet-to-be-named special guest will also appear.
The countdown concert in the Latin American host country will be held in conjunction with the Mexico Vibra event, which will also bring together stars such as Alejandro Fernández, Karin León, Timbiriche, Carla Morrison and Mime del Real at the Auditorio Nacional.
In Los Angeles, Diplo will perform his Major Lazer project, and Davido will also perform for an unforgettable night of music and celebration. Additional performers will be announced at a later date.
FIFA announced the lineup for the Toronto show on May 29th. The Canadian performance will feature appearances by Bryan Adams, Nora Fatehi, Sunjoy, Vegedream, a collaboration between AHI and Wyclef Jean, as well as other artists and special guests to be announced.
The countdown concert will be livestreamed starting at 7pm in Mexico City, 6pm in Los Angeles, and 8pm local time in Toronto. It will be available to watch on FIFA’s digital channels, including a global live stream on the FIFA World Cup TikTok account.
