Manus AI, China’s virus AI agent platform, launched two subscription plans starting at $39 a month on Monday morning.

Still in beta, Manus is an AI-powered agent tool that can be used to complete tasks, from creating web pages for wedding invitations to creating scoring sheets for baseball games. However, our testing showed that the platform was not close to some of the promises of higher marketing.

The cheapest Manus plan for the new premium plan is $39 per month and comes with 3,900 credits and the ability to run two tasks simultaneously. Another costly new plan, which costs $199 per month, gives users 19,900 credits, the ability to run five tasks simultaneously, and priority access during peak hours.

Premium Manus subscribers can purchase additional credits if required with the Top Up Pack. These prices were not immediately clear.

“We’re working hard around the clock to expand our infrastructure and accommodate everyone, but this development phase required us to temporarily restrict access to Manus.” [sic] Manus wrote in X’s post. “We’re also working to optimize our current usage to provide better value to our users.”

In other upgrades to today’s platform, Manus released an iOS app, upgraded its AI model, powered the backend on Anthropic’s Claude 3.7 Sonnet.
