Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, May 23, 2025, Chain Wire
The Venom Foundation has successfully completed a closed network stress test for next-generation protocols. The implementation of this upgrade is set to occur in the third quarter of 2025, making it one of the most effective throughput public blockchains in which Venom exists.
“Throughput is only important if you remain reliable under pressure,” said Christopher Lewis, CEO of Venom. “Our new stacks can handle enterprise workloads without surges in fees or eroding decentralization. This is what payment providers, exchanges and game studios need.”
Why is it important to the market?
Large-scale Speed - DAG-based Mempool consensus unlocks over 400,000 TPS headroom on synthetic benchmarks while maintaining real-time finality. Fair Order Flow – A distributed sorting layer converts DAGs into a single linear order, preventing frontrunning and other MEV exploits. Performing parallel smart contracts – Shard accounts and processes in the TVM actor model are invoked asynchronously to allow for large amounts of defi and microtransactions. Deterministic Security – Validators can generate the same output. This means that when a signature of 2 n + 1 is collected, it reaches finality and makes fork virtually impossible. Lean Networking Footprint – Asynchronous block distribution reduces the bandwidth costs for operators and cloud partners.

All raw data, node configuration, and test scripts are published in Venom’s Public Github repository prior to launching the testnet. Independent auditors are currently reviewing both security and performance aspects of the upgrade.
