Tallahassee, Fla. (AP) – Two people have been killed and six others injured When a gunman fires Florida State University fled students from the student union and blocked the Tallahassee, Florida campus.

Authorities have identified the shooter as Phoenix Echner, a 20-year-old Florida student, the sheriff’s deputy son. He began firing with his mother’s previous worship weapons before he was shot dead and injured by officers when he refused to obey orders, investigators said.

Authorities have not yet revealed their motives shootingIt started at lunch on Thursday, just outside the Student Union.

The family says university employee Robert Morales is one of the people killed, but authorities have not identified the victim. This is what we know about Morales.

Robert Morales

Robert Morales was a college meal coordinator who had been working in Florida since 2015, according to his LinkedIn profile.

“Today we lost our brother. He was one of the victims killed at FSU,” Ricardo Morales Jr. posted on social media late Thursday. “He loved FSU and his beautiful wife and daughter work. I’m glad you were in my life.”

According to her LinkedIn profile, Morales studied criminology at school in the early 1990s.

The profile also states that he is the CEO of Black Bean Food Group, but state records show that the business broke up 10 years ago.

Ricardo Morales, the father of the Morales brothers, was a Cuban exile who became a CIA exile in South Florida under the nickname “Monkey.” Ricardo Morales Jr. will be releasing his father’s work later this year in his upcoming book, “Monkey Morales: The True Story of a Mythical Cuban Exile, Assassin, CIA operative, FBI Information Provider, Smuggler and Dad.”

“Seouled as “ape” for his destructive and unpredictable escape, Morales grabbed headlines for decades as a story of his bombing, arresting and assassination attempts (both the person he was executed and the person he suffered), and his testimony has constructed a real-life spy adventure that is different from what was brought to the pages and screens.”

Elder Morales was fatally shot in 1982 at the age of 43 in a bar brawl.
