Translateable, the only dedicated language agent in the events industry, has partnered with {10-11} Carlton House Terrace (1011Cht) and has become the venue’s recommended event language partner.
Located in the heart of Westminster, London, on the {10-11} Carlton House Terrace, the British Academy is located. Grade I, listed by Georgian Townhouse, is renowned for its rich history and unique event space.
In November 2024, the venue officially unveiled the newly developed, versatile event space, following the £9.6 million renovation.
Beyond physical transformation, the venue is also undertaking an official accessibility audit, implementing a program of improvement as part of its ongoing commitment to increasing inclusiveness.
The partnership with Translator will promote this mission by ensuring that language is not a barrier to participation, for the venue’s internal event team or for event experts hosting events at 1011CHT.
Through this collaboration, 1011CHT event organizers will have access to translatable professional multilingual services, including interpretations, captions, and translations.
Marion Barros, Business Development & Marketing Manager at the venue, said: “We recognize that 2025 will be a pivotal year for the venue, and accessibility will become an increasingly important requirement for the event. By strengthening this partnership, we aim to ensure that the venue is welcome and inclusive to all guests.”
Julia D’Anmeli, CEO and founder of Translables, added: “Language is a fundamental part of inclusiveness and we look forward to welcoming all events at 1011CHT and making them accessible to everyone.”
