Rep. Chris Bryant, the state minister of media, tourism and creative industries, will hold next week’s Global Policy Forum on behalf of the event’s business.

Labour MPs from the Welsh constituencies of Ronda and Ogmore will deliver their opening addresses at the forum, held at Savoy Place on April 1st at IET London: in the capacity of Ministers of Culture, Media and Sports.

Rep. Chris Bryant is part of a lineup of figures from politicians, policymakers and senior industry who will be participating in the business of the Global Policy Forum event sponsored by RX Global.

Speakers and contributors for the program include Sean Davis MP, chairman of the event’s All-Party Congress Group. Dame Caroline Dinenage Chairman of DBE MP, Culture, Media and Sports Select Committee. And columnist and politician Lord Daniel Finkelstein provides representatives with insight into current political and economic landscapes.

“We’ve been working hard to get into the business news and content of the event,” said Mike Fletcher, director of business news and content for the event.

“Sir Chris Bryant’s involvement and approval of the Global Policy Forum is cake icing for what promises to be an impactful, high-level programme designed to move needles about how the business events industry engages with government.”

News anchors, reporters and broadcaster Trish Lynch moderates the forum. This will feature ICCA CEO St. Hillgopinas and discuss the opportunities that business events will bring to the UK economy.

While Kerry Prince, Managing Directors of RX Global UK and Lori Hoinkes, CEO of Manchester Central, explore opportunities within the UK exhibition and exhibition sector, some of the UK’s major business event destinations will contribute to a panel discussion hosted by Paul Black of Visitbritain/Meet Ingland about the evolving role of the convention agency.

Meanwhile, Mickael Benaim, Head of Research at SFA Connect, will highlight how destinations are adapting to economic and political landscape changes before the closing keynote speech is given by the Dame Caroline Disenage Dbe MP, Gosport MP, and the chair of the Culture, Media and Sports Selection Committee.
