Searcys has been appointed as the new caterer of the National Gallery, in line with the rethinking Sainsbury Wing announcement in the £85 million capital build project.
The investment includes a massive reconfiguration of the entrance to Sainsbury Wing, a new mezzanine event space with a statement bar overlooking Trafalgar Square, and a digital welcome wall for bespoke client brands.
Starting in May, Searcys’ new Spring/Summer 2025 menu will list Sainsbury Wing at all daytime events held at Grade I in the Gallery.
A new range of dishes was created in collaboration with renowned chef Giorgio Rocatelli.

“We’ve got a lot of effort into making our products,” said Rebecca Hawkes, Director of Sales and Events at Searcys. “We are honored to be part of providing an unforgettable experience in this special place and we are committed to working with local, seasonal and sustainable producers.
