That’s over: Google violated antitrust laws on AD Tech Market, ending a two-year battle after a judge ruled and eight states filed complaints against the Big Tech giants. Reliefs include forcing Google to dissolve the advertising business, such as selling Google Ad Manager. “We’ve won half of this case, and we’ll call on the other half,” said Lee-Anne Mulholland, Google’s vice president of regulation.
Gone Surfing: Openai is reportedly in discussions to purchase Windsurf, a former Codeum. Before the news broke, Openai approached Anysphere. This creates another coding assistant, Cursor. These talks show how important it has become for ChatGpt makers to capture slices in the code generation market.
